Our team of dedicated nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), Personal Care Assistants (PCAs), Housekeepers, and In-Home Support Specialists are appropriately licensed and specially trained to provide exceptional care to patients in their homes. They exemplify the dedication and reliability needed to deliver healthcare services with the high standard of quality and commitment you and your family deserve.

Founded in Winona, Minnesota, in 2008 by a local nurse driven by the mission to help people remain at home regardless of their healthcare needs, Options Plus Home Care has grown primarily through referrals and word of mouth. Over the years, we’ve expanded to build a skilled in-home healthcare team equipped to meet diverse client needs.

Today, our team of over 50 nursing and home care professionals serves more than 60 clients each week across Winona County and surrounding areas. All staff members undergo comprehensive training, are supervised by a registered nurse, and must pass a Minnesota Criminal Background Study.

General Manager

I’ve been with Options Plus Home Care since I was 12 years old, growing with the company and taking on a wide range of roles—from providing chore services to working as a Personal Care Assistant. I now proudly serve as the General Manager and Special Project Supervisor. In addition to my work at Options Plus, I serve in the Minnesota Army National Guard. I run a tight ship, and that discipline and attention to detail are reflected in the performance of our dedicated team. At Options Plus Home Care, we give our best every day to ensure our clients receive the highest quality care and support.

Jenni Hemmelman

Nursing Coordinator/Owner

I was born and raised right here in Winona and have been in the healthcare field since 2000, earning both my LPN and RN degrees along the way. I founded Options Plus Home Care in 2008 with a mission to bring better, more compassionate care to our community. Since then, I’ve proudly led our team with a strong focus on quality, consistency, and heart. My passion for nursing is what started this journey, and it continues to guide how we serve our clients every day. At Options Plus Home Care, we hold ourselves to a high standard because our clients deserve nothing less.
